When I returned and woke up the computer however, the Stop Error Blue Screen was displaying. The Screen cited a problem with windows was detected and as such has been shut down to prevent any damage to my computer. I’m sure everyone is familiar with the Blue Screen of Death. In the technical information it listed the following: *** STOP: 0x000000FC (0XFFFFF88000DA80E0, 0X900000000C9F6963, 0XFFFFF8800298AB20, 0X0000000000000002)

*** ACPI.sys – address FFFFF88000DA80E0 base at FFFFF88000D75000, DateStamp 4a5bc106

Now it is important to know that the file was a compilation of Disney AVI’s. So this problem isn’t due to a malicious virus or infection of software. It’s also pertinent for you to know that I was using a 500w PSU when the problem displayed. I just recently purchased 2 ATI 5770’s and am running them in Crossfire. When the error began displaying, I installed the new 1000w PSU I procrastinated to install after it’s purchase along with the cards. If I’m somewhat correct, I believe that the ACPI.sys stands for Advanced Computational Power Interface and is of course the main reason I can’t boot into Windows. I am not a beginner and my computer knowledge is pretty extensive. I was going to flash the bios in an attempt to see if I could possibly fix this. Remember, despite me installing the new PSU, I am still receiving this Stop Error. If you have a more accurate method to fix this problem, I’m all ears.

[42

post-13397","question","type-question","status-publish","hentry","question-category-windows-7
["GET
