Receiving popup error ‘startrep.exe’ saying:<\/p>\n
‘The instruction at 0x00000001BF487C87 referenced memory at 0x00000001BF487C87. The memory could not be written.<\/p>\n
Click on OK to terminate the program’<\/p>\n
The background message is ‘Attempting repairs’ with the circle of dots but nothing happens when you click ‘ok’ and I swear Ive gone through every option and cannot figure anything out aside from finding something to type into the command prompt — which I haven’t the foggiest clue what to enter.<\/p>\n
This is my grandmother’s laptop with many pictures of passed away family as well as all of her professional manuscripts and my life will most certainly end if I cannot get this squared away without losing the information I have just spent the past few hours organizing.<\/p>\n
The changes that were made to the computer were a few safe app downloads and I also deleted the random junk from the startup menu because it was overloaded. To my knowledge, I only deleted programs that I knew what they were so I dont believe I deleted anything pertinent for startup but it is a possibility.<\/p>\n
