The worksheet (called Action Sheet) is laid out with code(A), name(B), date(C), action(D), user(E) and quantity(F &amp; G).<\/p>\n<p>The name column uses the cell formula [=LOOKUP(&#8216;Action Sheet&#8217;!A:A,&#8217;Chemical Lookup&#8217;!A:B)] to update itself from another worksheet (Chemical Lookup) when an entry is made in the code column.<\/p>\n<p>I want to a similar task in the date column [=IF(A2&gt;1,$I$1,&#8221;&#8221;)] (I1 is =TODAY()) when an entry is made but want the date to remain static for the entry i.e. I do not want the date to change when I am making further entries on a different date.<\/p>\n<p>Please help as this is beginning to drive me nuts!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","template":"","meta":{"inline_featured_image":false,"iawp_total_views":6},"question-category":[53],"question_tags":[],"class_list":["post-12686","question","type-question","status-publish","hentry","question-category-office"],"jetpack_sharing_enabled":true,"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/computing.net\/answers\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/question\/12686","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/computing.net\/answers\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/question"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/computing.net\/answers\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/question"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/computing.net\/answers\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/1"}],"replies":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/computing.net\/answers\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/comments?post=12686"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/computing.net\/answers\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=12686"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"question-category","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/computing.net\/answers\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/question-category?post=12686"},{"taxonomy":"question_tags","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/computing.net\/answers\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/question_tags?post=12686"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
