When I start the computer, it will start loading Windows and then will go to the CHKDSK screen instead. It starts to check, but then about 10% into the process when it says it finished the first step (of 3), it will reboot and start the process all over again from 0. I let it sit for an hour and it never got any further than that. If I hit a key during the CHKDSK process, it stops and sends me to log in, but as soon as I do log in I get a message that says, “The file or directory C:\\Users\\Administrator.88M61N1\\AppData\\Local is corrupt and unreadable, please run the check disk utility.” But then it will BSOD and restart, which sends me right back into the neverending CHKDSK loop! I am running Windows 7 Professional and all I’ve been able to find are the Dell Reinstallation DVDs that came with the computers, no actual Windows 7 disk. Thanks in advance for your advice!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","template":"","meta":{"inline_featured_image":false,"iawp_total_views":0},"question-category":[42],"question_tags":[],"class_list":["post-12361","question","type-question","status-publish","hentry","question-category-windows-7"],"jetpack_sharing_enabled":true,"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/computing.net\/answers\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/question\/12361","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/computing.net\/answers\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/question"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/computing.net\/answers\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/question"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/computing.net\/answers\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/1"}],"replies":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/computing.net\/answers\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/comments?post=12361"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/computing.net\/answers\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=12361"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"question-category","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/computing.net\/answers\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/question-category?post=12361"},{"taxonomy":"question_tags","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/computing.net\/answers\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/question_tags?post=12361"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
