It has a static IP address (192.168.138.3) that routes through DC1 (192.168.138.1) and also uses DC1 for DNS at the same address. DNS resolution works perfectly (e.g. a test on google.com returns proper addresses), but whenever I try to do pings to Google, all I get is the following (it can’t connect to the internet either):

Pinging google.com [74.125.239.98] with 32 bytes of data:
Reply from 192.168.138.3: Destination Host Unreachable.
Reply from 192.168.138.3: Destination Host Unreachable.
Reply from 192.168.138.3: Destination Host Unreachable.
Reply from 192.168.138.3: Destination Host Unreachable.

Ping Statistics for 74.125.239.98:
Packets: Sent = 4, Received = 4, Lost = 0 (0% loss)

However, WDS uses the exact same configuration aside from a different static IP (192.168.138.2) and it gets internet connectivity perfectly, pings all go through and respond normally, and DNS works.

So, my question is, does anybody know what the deal could be with HV0? I can remote desktop into it perfectly to work on it, but it just won’t connect to the internet when my other servers and computes can.

Thanks for the help,
RMT2

You’ve been helped by a 16 year old.

[49

post-10993","question","type-question","status-publish","hentry","question-category-networking
["GET
