It shows as no files yet written but shows disk full under the properties General tab. Went to DOS prompt under Run option, typed in cmd and then chkdsk d: to check possible hidden files on the disc – it returned the message “cannot open volume for direct access”. Went back to the properties under recording tab and checked off “enable cd recording on this drive”, and drive still shows as full. Thought perhaps may be a problem with drag and drop software for this recording drive, and checked and unchecked the box showing “enable DNA on your drives”, both options with no success (i.e. still shows disc as full). In addition, I’ve installed ROXIO Creator 2012 to use as my video recording software and am informed that this software works well with any media recording mfgr except for Memorex (I’m surprised , I would have thought that the media dvds should be transparent to any the DVD burning software?).

Can someone please help me?

[76

post-10152","question","type-question","status-publish","hentry","question-category-windows-xp
["GET
