I'd map a network share to each computer and then run it from a mapped drive, the program would have to be on the share and I'd guess only 32 bit systems would run it. So unless the hard drive was replaced or the “repairman” wiped out the partition, the files are probably still there. Try pressing Alt+F10 at startup to see if that brings up recovery.
    Also, you may be able to just enter your eMachines product key to make the Windows installation genuine, provided he used the correct version.
