Solved Acer Aspire All-In-One Desktop Wireless Keyboard Not Working

  • 2

I have an Acer Aspire Z5771, Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-2400S CPU @ 2.50GHz 8GB ram, The wireless keyboard stopped working (not sure if it was after the last windows 7 update). I have replaced the batteries and did not fix the problem. Checked in Device Manager but drivers appeared to be working properly. At present I do not have a spare keyboard to try. Does anyone have any further suggestions that I could try? At present I’m using the ‘virtual keyboard’.
Thanks

  1. If it were me, I’d try the K/B on another computer. If it works, then you know the K/B is good and the issue must be the computer it’s presently connected to. This would mean the issue is likely software(drivers).

You might want to check the manufacturer’s website and see if there are newer Windows 7 drivers for the device. If there are, download and install them and reboot and see if your K/B doesn’t work then.
