Solved Samsung TV Photo Slideshow

I use a 19″ Samsung as a digital photo frame.

Works very well.

2 problems.

1 maximum of 1000 pictures in a folder

2 some (not all) of the portrait photos are rotated.

Anyone a solution to either of these

      Something I found on the net made me wonder if it might be a workaround, although it was not about your particular situation:

      ———————————————————
      Open your rotated JPG image in Paint.
      Use Ctrl+R (Image|Flip/Rotate menu option) to open the Flip and Rotate dialog.
      Select Rotate by angle.
      Select 270 degrees so the top is at the LEFT side.
      Save as 24-bit Bitmap.
      Save as JPG.

      I don’t know why you have to save it as a bitmap first though.
