So I have a asus laptop and as soon as I turn it on the HDD password screen comes up can not get past this screen can anyone help. I have tried removing the battery and that did nothing.

This is no way around a HDD password. It’s a security feature built into laptops & would be useless if it was easy to bypass. Someone enabled the feature & created the password, you’ll have to ask him or her.
