Kodak EasyShare Digital Camera White Screen

  • 0

I have a Kodak EasyShare M530 digital camera that worked just fine until I removed the pictures from it the other day! Now everytime I turn it on, the screen is solid white, but I can barely see some shades or outlines of objects! If I take a picture, it turns out perfect when opened from a computer, but I just can’t see what I am taking a picture of on the screen of the camera! I have another camera exactly like it and I was wondering if there is a way I can access the root directory of the cameras firmware, compare the two and make sure something didn’t get corrupted when I was taking pictures off of it the other day! Something else that may be important is that when I removed the pictures, it was with windows explorer, and not the camera’s EasyShare software. I am running Windows 7 on my laptop and the camera shows up as a “Digital Camera” and not a “Removeable Drive”……

  1. Go to Kodak website under support and downloads and find the firmware download for your CD82 camera and see if that corrects the problem.
