I have a support code 1303 on my printer with a message saying there is a paper jam but no paper is jammed in the printer. How do I over ride this message and get the printer to print.

I realise it is not your printer but the principles apply.
EDIT:
I assume you pressed the [Resume/Cancel] button on the printer to continue printing, and have tried unplugging the both cables and re-inserting them again.
