i got a msi k9agm3 f motherboard, it was workin fine and everything yesterday but today, when I turned it on, it fails to detect any keyboard or mouse, tried everything from reconnecting everything, to loosening the screws, to completly removing the motherboard from the case and assembling it apart and still nothing, it comes on, and on the boot screen it says “PS/2 mouse notdetected”, is there anywhere I could get a bios auto repair/installer because I suspect it of being the problem, since it can’t recognize the keyboard nor mouse I can’t get into the BIOS to actually confirm if that is the problem, would appreciate any help, thx allot.

Bioses DO NOT spontaneously get corrupted.
Only malware can corrupt the bios, but if you’re using any anti-malware software at all, that’s extremely unlikely.

MSI mboards are more likely to have this problem ……
Some mboards develop this problem – electrolytic capacitors were installed on them that were not properly made, and they fail eventually – the mboard manufacturer didn’t know they were improperly made at the time the mboard was made.
Open up your case and examine the mboard to see if you have bad capacitors, and/or other findable signs of mboard damage .

Both USB ports and PS/2 ports require +5v
Failing power supplies are common.
If your power supply is malfunctioning, it may nor be producing enough of what is supposed to be accurate +5v power.
In that case optical (CD, DVD) drives and floppy drives won’t work either
Try connecting another power supply if you can
