Actually I needed to get to the BIOS setup and decided to get there through the HP spare key using F7 since the Bios Administrator prompted a password which I had no idea of, when I got to the spare key and pressed enter it said spare key not enrolled. Pls i need help on this.

1- Try a blank password and see if it will allow you to continue.
2- Your ‘new’ laptop might have happened to have a very brief owner prior to you. This could be if it was an ‘Open Box’ or ‘Refurbished’ laptop. Since you have the receipt, contact HP Tech Support on the phone (not email, etc.) and be prepared to prove ownership since just about only HP could get you into there if there is a BIOS level password.
You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.
