Solved I can not get past Unexpected I/O error has occurred .

I cannot get past a screen error that’s keeps popping up, no matter which way I try to boot the computer, that’s comes up as : windows boot manager, an unexpected I/O error has occurred. Status : Oxc00000e9 ( Windows 7 )

    1. I saw this mentioned in another forum & the problem was a BIOS setting somehow got changed. Go into the BIOS & change your HDD setting from ATA to SATA or SATA to ATA depending on which type of HDD you have.
