How To Get F12 To Work Properly On An Acer Laptop Aspire

can’t get the f12 key to work on acer aspire. so it doesn’t recognize cd/dvd rom, when starting the computer, the screne only says “press f2 to enter setup”. The option of entering f12 is not present.

    1. You have to press F12, when the “Press F2 to enter BIOS” is displayed at the bottom of the screen.
      If this option is disabled in BIOS, you have to enable it in the BIOS.
      If you don’t know the BIOS password, you have to ask the one, how protected the BIOS by password or you have to contact ACER.
      Therefore, you need to proof the ownership of the laptop, to get support on that.
