How Do I Keep My Mac From Timing Out

Every time I leave my mac idle for a minute, my connection times out. Where do I change the settings in the system preference?

      Go to System Preferences – Energy Saver – Power Adapter tab, put the Computer sleep to Never
      This is what I can think about.
