How To Fix Blank White Screen On Toshiba Sattlite S855

Toshiba satellite S855 reboots to blank white screen. No POST activities. using external monitor do not display any thing. replacing the memory chip does not help either.
Battery removed, use power adapter , keep pressing the power bottom for 2 minutes, still no activities , no beeps…..

    1. So the toshiba screen and a working external monitor both show the white screen with nothing on it? Did anything happen to it or did you make any hardware changes just before this started?
      If the external monitor had worked then likely the problem would have to do with the screen only, everything else being OK. But since neither do then the problem is going to be some difficult-to-isolate internal problem.
