Canon MG,6350 error 1403 type of print head incorrect..Replaced with brand new one. Worked for a spell then same message popped up, wrong print head error code 1403. Can anyone help please.

Remove the head, and also ink cartridges.
Clean contacts on the head (if possible – and carefully).
Switch the printer on – without head or cartridges. Let it do whatever it may – likely cough up error messages galore on its built-in lcd screen? Then power off and re-install the head and cartridges. Then power up and fingers crossed etc.?
