On the 3.0 version assuming you have a decent capable video card, you should open Configurations and ‘enable dual core speed up’, ‘enable idle skipping’, and set frame-limiting to ‘auto’ in the General Basic Settings tab. On the Advanced Settings CPU emulating engine you should leave on the ‘recommended’. On the Audio tab try the ‘DSP HLE emulation’ and on Backend Setting select ‘DSound’ on Audio Backend and Sample Rate to ‘48000Hz’.
Than go to the Graphics Configuration and on the General tab select your video card on Adapter and select from Backend to DirectX9. Set your screen resolution to what ever you can handle and Aspect Ratio to ‘Auto’.
On Enhancements set Internal Resolution to 3x Native (1920×1584) (or modify), Anti-Aliasting to None, Anisotropic Filtering to what performs better. Check on Scaled EFB Copy.
On the Hack tab you should not have ‘Skip EFB Access from CPU’ check and check on ‘Ignore Format Changes’, and on the EFB Copies only have ‘Texture’ selected. On Texture Cach it should be normal or neutral. In External Frame Buffer you should have ‘Virtual’ selected and check on ‘Disable’. On the Advance tab everything should be unchecked.
