The vulnerability scanner for McAfee has been stuck at 50% for two days now. I may have turned the laptop off at times when it was in process but since seeing the first 50% I have deliberately left it on so the scanner can complete. This has not happened before.

Uninstall it using their uninstaller.
It will then revert back to what I use, Windows Defender.
