Solved Why is My Wireless Mouse Inverted Backwards

  • 2

I have a Trust 18519 mouse and I was just using it and it suddenly changed to inverted (move it up it goes left, move it down it goes right and if you move it right it goes up and move it left it goes down), I have a HP laptop with Windows 8.1 and have now had two of these mice, with my last one wouldn’t work at all, with this one, I have taken it out of the USB port and re plugged it, gone to the control panel and gone to mouse settings and haven’t found anything for inverted, I have restarted my laptop and I have replaced the batteries in the mouse but still nothing. I cant pinpoint anything that could of caused it, I was just using it normally, like I have for the past 2 weeks. Any ideas on what I can do because I don’t really want to go and buy another one again.

  1. What you described is neither “backwards” nor “inverted”, but
    rotated 90 degrees counterclockwise.

The extra software that can be used with some mice sometimes
allows the user to set the angle that the mouse pointer should
move when the mouse is moved.

However, I Googled your mouse make and model, and quickly
found that other people had the exact same problem, and solved
it by going to trust.com and downloading and installing a driver.
They give this as the link to a .zip file which contains an .exe
