I powered on my toshiba satellite L640-X4310 (4.5 yrs old) and the power light comes on, the hard drive light flashes,CDrom initialized, Fan running, but the screen never changes from black. I have tried connecting LED TV via HDMI cable but no luck. I have tried powering the laptop on battery, and connected to AC with& without battery, but display still does not change from black screen.
Also Tried Generic Reset a laptop (http://www.cnet.com/forums/discussions/welcome-to-the-laptop-forum-at-cnet-352085/).
I can’t figure out whether the problem is with MB or something else.
