Solved Installed New GPU, Start Up Takes Too Long, Can’t Enter Bios

  • 4

I bought a Geforce GTX 750 Ti and installed it, computer takes a long time to start up, around 2 minutes and makes several beep sounds in the process, once it start ups video card works fine, tried several games and they work smoothly. If i take out the video card then it start ups super fast, just in seconds. Also can’t enter the BIOS setup with this new GPU.

These are my specs:

CPU: i5-3330 3.0Ghz
Motherboard: Gygabyte GA-H61M-S1
Power Source: Sentey STY-60 (600w)
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 750 Ti
RAM: 4GB
HDD: Western Digital Blue WD10EZEX 1TB

Video showing my start up with/without new GPU: https://youtu.be/fUIDXqkRmmc

P.S: Sometimes when i open several stuff and I start using a lot of my RAM screen turns black and im forced to restart, it only happened a few times, i’ve been using this GPU for a week.

I hope someone can help me out, thanks a lot

  1. Sentey STY-60 = cheap, low end garbage. Only 14A on the +12v rail? Invest in a decent power supply before it’s too late.
