USTech Whole House Router

  • 0

I have a whole house UStech router installed.
The cable comes in from the out side of the
house to the UStech box and is routed
throughout the house. So all outlets in the
house are wired to cable for computers. I
need to install wireless so I can run my
laptop, ps3 and streaming tv. Is the Linksys
WAP610N router access point router what I
need. I guess the real question is an “access
point router” what I need is a so it does not
conflict with the USTeck router. Also would
the set up involve anything special to talk to
the UStech so I could run what ever was in the
house that needed wireless,example when
family comes over and they want to us the
wireless connection. Also by the fact all
outlets are running to the UStech box can I
plug the access point router into any outlet or
does it have to be plugged into one of the
USteck ports in the box.

  1. Your so-called USTech whole house router is actually UStec router TP-IPR8. The website www.ustecnet.com appears to have disappeared from the face of the earth. The only thing I can find about this router is mentioned in the UStec Residential Structured Wiring User Manual (CLICK ME)
