Cannot Connect To Internet After Reset Router

I reset my router Linksys wrt54g because I forgot my router password.
After reseting, I am only able to connect to the internet through my modem.
I cannot connect to the internet through my router after plugging in the cables.

      PPPoE settings have to be made in the routers configuration, not at the computer itself, read the routers manual.
      Otherwise, you have to change settings in the router, so that every single computer can make PPPoE authentication, which in my oppinion makes absolutely no sense.

      So if the router does the PPPoE authentication, you must not use any PPPoE authentication at any computer !!! (Just to make things easier to understand.)
