Solved Recover Folders Changed To Folder Named NTFSCK.00000000

i just eject my extra hard from my laptop and then pluged it in and 3 of my folders didnt exist.then in one other file i found the folder name ntfsck.00000000 that i’v never seen them before.1 of my files was there but not in its real name but it was opened and all of my data of that file were there…
do u know what is this ntfsck.00000000 and how could i recover my 2 other folders????

      Those are files created by chkdsk. Check the posting by spunk.funk here:

      The demo version should be sufficient. Don’t install anything on that drive until you’ve exhausted recovery efforts as you may write over an area that needs to be recovered.
