Why Does K7 Core Service Agent III Using 96% CPU ?

I installed k7 total security antivirus to my HP laptop, which is running on windows 8.1 OS.
After installing k7 antivirus, my system speed has been reduced. When I open windows task manager, I found that k7 core service agent iii using 96% CPU.

      Not one I know but it is claimed to be low on resources. Have you any other antivirus running in the background at the same time because this can cause issues?

      If not, first disable real-time monitoring then uninstall and re-install it. For some reason it just might not work well with the software mix on your computer. There are many free AV’s around such as Avast, Avira, AVG etc., all of which are well known around here. MS also provide Windows Defender, easy on resources although fairly basic.
