GE Webcam 98650 Driver File Install Problems

I just bought a GE Webcam Model 98650 for my parents pc running Win XP Home (Service Pack 3). When trying to install the driver from cd, the install kept crashing. Went to their support site and downloaded the zip file directly. After unzipping and clicking on the .exe file, InstallShield starts to run but then the window minimizes and it seems as though the install stalls. It is still listed as a running application in the Control Panel but it never installs the driver. Any thoughts on this?

      Try this. Turn off all running programs eg: antivirus/malware scanner, etc. then try installing the camera drivers. One of the running programs may be interfering with the install.
