Have a pc I recently built and cannot get it to connect to the monitor, I have tried disconnecting the video card and hooking into the motherboard port with no luck. I have disconnected everything else on the pc and tried again and cannot even get to access BIOS because monitor won’t communicate with the pc.

The monitor isn’t the problem.
It’s difficult to help when you don’t list any of your hardware or what’s happening. Have you ever built a PC before? Did you benchtest your hardware before installing it in the case? Do you have a decent quality power supply? Did you mount the CPU & heatsink/fan properly? Did you use thermal paste? Do you hear any beeps at startup?
