Solved What Is $RECYCLE,BIN Folder

Recently I noticed $RECYCLE.BIN folder in my external hard hard disc drive.
I wonder if it is a virus. Even after scanning the drive with Quick heal total security software this folder is not going. and the antivirus scan shows that there is no virus.

      Go to Control Panel > Folder Options > View. Set yourself to hide protected system files, which is the MS recommendation. I agree with this, otherwise you will get spurious system files (such as desktop.ini) showing in user areas. You should no longer see $Recycle.

      Showing hidden files and file extensions is a different matter and showing file extensions is particularly useful.
