Test ATM OAM F5 Segment Ping: FAIL Test ATM

sir,
i m using bsnl broadband . i m subscribed to 625 monthly unlimited plan which offers 256 kbps bandwdth but i m hardly getting 60 kbps and my dsl router diagnstic is displayin the following

Test ATM OAM F5 segment ping: FAIL
Test ATM OAM F5 end-to-end ping: FAIL

so please help to sort out this problem.

      From other forums that I’ve read, these tests failing is not a serious issue. Many ISP’s set their gateways not to respond to routers pinging them.

      Most likely, your speed problem is completely unrelated to these two diagnostics. If your router had no contact with it’s gateway at your ISP, there would be no speed, not low speed.
