You know when you have an unidentified file and it comes up with basically a a4 page with a window and 6 icons in that window on it. Well all my folders have suddenly turned into that, im not sure how to fix it. Any ideas?

Minismack,Right click your desktop, choose Properties, under the Settings tab
Change Color quality from 32 bit to 16 bit. Restart computer, then change it back to 32 bit.

OR

Start your computer in SAFE mode then restart it in Normal mode. This will rebuild the iconcache.db file and may correct the problem.

You could also download Tweak UI at the link below. After you install it you'll find it in Start>Programs>Powertoys for Windows XP>Tweak UI. Open it and under Repair then choose Rebuild Icons.
