Hi,

I just installed Nero 5.5.8.2 and have successfully burnt a data CD-RW

I then tried to burn an Audio CD-R and received this error message:
SCSI/ATAPI command timeout error

I have tried several times but always get this error any ideas??

Go to

http://www.nero.com/en/index.html#root

and make sure you have the latest version. I had a similar problem ages ago but the latest update seems to work OK.

Are you copying a CD and copying on the Fly?

If so try copying to hard disk first then write the CD.

Nah the files are from my Hard Disk.

I can burn using other programs such as Clone CD and CDRWIn with no worries.

Nero always gives me the same error message though
