Comment: I recently added second harddisk and USB wireless card to my PC. Now when ever I shut down my PC, 90% of the times it freezes on "Windows is shutting down" screen and it never shuts down. Then I have to just do hard shut off (using power switch). The booting is fine its only the shut off which has problems.. Any suggestions?

Reply: (edit)Hi, Ensure that you do not have 2(or more) anti-virus programs installed. And then go to start>run>Regedit and navigate to HKEY_Local_Machine>Software>Microsoft>Windows>Current Version>Run and then delete all the unnecessary items. Restart the machine once and try to Shut down again. Lemme know if the problem persists. Regards, Anuj Hydbad, India Let Euro-Vocal Trance rule the 2005 Party Scene.
