Comment:

I feel really dumb...but my brain has shut off.

I installed a DVD+-RW drive into my computer (Windows 98SE Gateway Essential 400)...and now I can't save like a simple .bmp or .jpg image or anything to CD.

It keeps saying "Access Denied". What am I missing? I feel really dumb...thanks for your help:)

... when you purchased the DVD/CD writer did it not come with "burning" software to install?

... one has to initiate the software first, saving the file(s) to "burn" to CD/DVD through the burning software.

... here's a free one you can download (very small)

http://www.nch.com.au/burn/index.html

... OK ya

Grrrr
wat do I know?
... got brain freeze
