Hey guys,

I've got a problem about the $WINDOWID variable I wanted to print into a file, when a new terminal window is opend.

I tried this in /usr/dt/bin/dtterm:

code:echo "User $USER opend terminal window $WINDOWID at 'date' >> /tmp/term.log

The variable for user works, but the one for the window id doesn't!
I Mon Sep 12 ...
Does anybody know why? They both work in every shell when I tried them in the terminal, so that shouldn't be the problem.

thanks
janine ;)
