Comment:

I just recieved my copy of Solaris 10
the system is like this, 2 hd,
one has 2 other OS on the first HD.
The second has a 39gig hd,
I've tried to install Solaris 10 about
6 times now...and can not boot to the os.
I've always been a os/2 user..and this
system has the os/2 boot manager installed
I want to install Solaris on the second
HD, but unlike os/2 I have not found
a fdisk program..to start from..
any help
Best
Dave

You need a virtual machine so you don't bork your system.

Solaris uses GRUB. If you are sure you know how to edit grub to add in windows then go ahead and install it to the correct drive and partition.

The Solaris DVD has an installer that guides you through the install. You can't use any (well almost) other format tool for solaris.

I read it wrong and answer it wrong too. So get off my case you goober.
