I have in the past configured my HP Jet Direct printservers using the HP utility HPPI.

I recewntly bought an HP Laserjet P2015dn. I cannot connect to this printer with the HPPI utility. (I believe it is because you cannot telnet into the newer jet direct cards.) From what I have read, HP no longer supports the jet direct cards on Solaris.

Is there other utilities that will do this? How can I set up this printer, as a network printer, on Solaris, with the default settings to be landscape printing in compressed mode.

Thanks,

Gary
