Hi,
Recently my computer started to shutdown at random times. This started to happen after i tried to download this program called daemon tools to deal with isos, but in the process i aquired a bad file called whenu.daemontools. i've tried to remove it with several different scans such as avira, spy emergency, spybot and spyware doctor, but it seems to still be there after each scan and elmination. could that be the reason why my computer is shutting down so frequently at specific times during the day? any help would be much appreciated. Thanks

I have Daemon Tools and i have no problems. My anti virus says im missing an important file that daemon tools removes but i haven't noticed anything change. You never know daemon tools seems pretty sketchy at times.

Could be a power problem? psu or just intermittent power.
However im more inclined to believe it could be an overheating problem with the pc.
