Look at using the lexicals f$device and f$getdvi. Using a combination of those can get you most of the information. Why do you want to do this? Can you explain more of what you're looking for?

Ken

how to use f$device and f$getdvi lexical functions.
To study and learn use of DCL by examples, have look into http://dcl.openvms.org .
