Hi, I am running Apache 2.0.39 http server on my Windows Xp pro; I was wondering if there is any way for the computer to somehow get out of the safe mode and wake up when some user tries to connect to the server from somewhere?

Out of Standby or sleep mode!?
Under My Network Places / properties / [name of]connection / properties / General / Configure / Power Management / check the box labeled Allow this device to bring the computer out of standby.
Also the Bios setup may have settings for that purpose.
