hi im new in the novell world as i tryed to setup a new server i couldnt install my network card i used the original driver from the card and the newest driver but both doesnt work it says every time init fail can some one tell me wot this could mean and wot can i do to fix it ?? i have an alliedtelesyn AT2500TX network card

could it be that the driver are not vor the 6,0 version ?? because as i cheked the url of the card there were only novell 3,0 - 5,x but it could be because they didnt update the list i duno

That is definitely a possibility.
But the initialization can also fail if:

1. An invalid interrupt is chosen.
2. An invalid PCI slot is chosen.

It might be worth your while to manually set the slot id to different value as sometimes the defaults that are chosen for a generic make of nic cards is not valid in your environment.
