No, but what chips are you referring to?

Might be some good info over at the MacGurus.com forums, or at Applefritter.com's forums.

thanks for the tips, p, i'll go check em out.

i ordered a few 128 dimms from owc which didn't work, i'm waiting for replacements. it may be they sent the wrong ones before, if so, there should be no new problem. i'll post an update, for others interested in upgrading, with more details.

I finally did get some 128 DIMMs from Other World
Computing which worked in my powercenter pro but
on both of my two separate orders they sent the
wrong chips before correcting the error (which cost
me for extra postage.)

I would HIGHLY recommend anyone considering
upgrading their clone to go for it -- at about $27 for
each 128 chip it is a great way to stabilize and speed
up your machine. I noticed major improvements at 384
(I previously had crashes/slowdowns during big graphic
work even with 192 megs of ram) and finally went for
512 simply because it is cheap enough to do so.

Be sure to specify that you need the BIG FAT 128
chips, not the little skimpy ones which do NOT work in
the powercenter. The CORRECT PART was marked
50BAMFL@RU. (The incorrect ones were marked
500CAMFU:2R2.)

OWC was great at replacing the parts but were
sloppy in sending the wrong chip the second time I
ordered -- especially since I phoned to remind them of
the problem with my first order and advise them to
send the correct one. If you use the correct part
number on the online order form you may avoid the
problem. Or ask for "order picker 8175" who picked
the correct order for me.
