Hi,
I have got a Compaq Presario intel-based laptop running Fedora Linux 8.Can anyone tell me how to connect to the internet thru my nokia mobile.. in Windows i have a modem called Nokia GSM modem that is installed by the Nokia PC Suite. is there any such drivers available for Linux??? or anyother work-around??

From what I have read you may be able to use (ndiswrapper) a program that allows you to run windows drivers under linux. It could in fact be used for almost any driver.

In most cases you need to run that phone as a modem. This assumes you have the cable for that. See pages like this. http://www.windclimber.net/linux/gs...
