trying to load win 95 from my floppy disk got to disk 5 cannot read.Hooked up a backpack cdrom to try and load my 98 version from cd but does not recognize the cd.This is on a IBM think pad 380.1G h.d 16 m/b ram.at wits end.Any ideas that will work would be appreciated.thanks for any help.

If the BackPack CD is parallel port type then it may be possible to install a basic MSDOS O/S with CD support, therefore can install W9x from MSDOS.

Check the BackPack website for support..
