Did you check on HP's site? Mostly all modems used in Hewlett-Packard pc's are the Rockwell HCF. I have a Pavilion model and Rockwell was also in it.

XP should be able to find your Modem and use its own drivers. The only problem is that this modem often incorporates a sound card which XP doesnt have drivers for.
I have the same modem however and it works for me.
If you still find it wont work (go to add new hardware) just in case it missed this (unlikely) then please drop me a line to my email address, and if you dont mind a hefty attachment, i can email you the drivers you will need. These are Windows 2000 HCF drivers and work perfectly.

I've got an identical modem, and I have a driver that works, but hardly ever it disconects and I must restart my computer to meke it works again. I've got a Genric 56k fax modem driver. Where can i find a diferent one?

Hello,
I've the same modem which came with HP Pavilion Home running Windows 98. But, I had to upgrade my machine to run Windows 2000, but my modem is not been detected.

I get disconnected so many times from the Internet because my modem has a noise.
Even when I'm talking over the phone I can hear the noise because the noise is so bad.
I tried deleting the modem and restore it back, also restoring my system but nothing worked.
What can I do to fix that problem?

I have looked everywhere for a driver for this same exact modem, I found a few but none have worked! If anyone has a driver that works, please let me know where to get it.

Use the modem driver for Windows 2000. You can find it in The HP Web Page, and in Downloads and Drivers Write the model of your computer and I am Sure You will find it.
I have a Pavilion 6530 and the same moden and I use the driver for Windows 2000 and it is working Perfectly.
