Comment: Hi everybody,
I have a Mustek 1200 UB Plus scanner with windows 2000, I installed the drivers correctly (I Think) But when i'm in the panel and I click on a button I here sound from the scanner but then it stops and software freezes.
When I open the scanner I see some blue light but not more Is my scanner broken or what else?? Can you help me Grtz Maarten P.s.:Sorry for my crappy english

Reply: (edit)Hi, something similar happened to me when I upgraded to WinXP, saw blue light and then it froze. I kept reinstaling the driver but it kept doing that too. But I was able to install it eventually. What I did was first uninstall the faulty driver, unplugged the scanner(USB), reboot, and then reinstall the driver, reboot again, then the scanner was properly recognized. The tip is, install the driver before installing the Scanner. Hope this helps.

Reply: (edit)Hi, I've upgraded to Windows 2000 and now my Mustek 1200 UB scanner doesn't work, i've scoured the net for a driver but the Mustek site is down, im in my final year of Uni and need my scanner! Can any one help?
