HP300n DVDRW/CDRW burner will not read or burn anything. Did firmware update and all driver updates. Can see drive in Dev Mgr. & explore-no error messages/uninstalled record now/mydvd and installed nero/Installed ASPI-says in Nero 6.6 ASPI files corrupt/nero aspi good-nero burns to cd but nothing shows up on cd/cant read the cd and is blank on other systems. Has my drive gone up? How can you tell if drive has gone up? At a loss as what to do-please help

AMD37, Award Bios, 80GB 7200 rpm, 48xCD-ROM, DVD+RW/+R/CDRW
