hi
i am trying to make my xp notebook (compaq presario 2111ap) with dos6.22 and dos7.1

i have used cn-dos boot disk to load dos7.1; i am looking for dos drivers for sound and graphics adapter.

HP (compaq) has thrown their hands saying they recommed XP and drivers on their site is for xp

as 7.1 is actually bootlegged from win95, will w95 drivers for ATI Radeon (M6 chip) IGP340M will work on dos environment?

and the sound is onboard; info available from helpdesk is minimal (one time they say it is conexant AC97 integrated sound!???) and another time ACER LABS

the winxp system device manager lists sound as ALi WDM (driver is ac97xx, supplied by acer)

MY QUESTION IS WILL WIN95 DRIVERS WORK ON dos ENVIRONMENT?

AND OTHER SUGGESTIONS ALSO WELCOME! (FOR CONEXANT MODEM!)
